CAMPESTRE ARTS
Rocío Casado Gil
Photographer

Nature is my primary source of inspiration. Through photography, I seek to capture fleeting moments
that often go unnoticed: an animal’s gaze, a shift in light, a texture, or the silence of a living landscape.
My work focuses particularly on wildlife and the emotional connection between the natural
environment and the observer.
In this series, which relates to the theme of Expressions and Impressions, I explore how animals and natural spaces convey emotions, presence, and visual memory. Some images maintain a documentary approach, while others incorporate editing processes to emphasize atmospheres, contrasts, and internal sensations rather than a literal representation of the scene.
My intention is to invite the viewer to pause, observe more closely, and forge a personal connection with nature, allowing each image to create a unique impression and inspire an individual interpretation.

I work primarily with digital nature and wildlife photography. My images combine
documentary capture with selective editing to highlight light, texture, emotion, and composition. In
some works, I employ artistic editing techniques to enhance the visual atmosphere and the
emotional interpretation of the natural scene.
